CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY
LED lights in the warehouse · Opportunities for advancement · Supporting worthy non-profits in the arts · Saying no to tax fraud and landfill dumping.
A4 is committed to the stewardship of our shared cultural legacy.
Simply put, we're not just in it for the money. We believe that by promoting ethical practices within the profession, and investing in a clean environment, art and business will thrive. We do this by supporting worthy non-profits in the arts, valuing our employees by paying them fair wages and benefits, and reinvesting inside and outside our business to create a safe and inclusive workplace.
OPPORTUNITY FOR ADVANCEMENT
Creating the kind of company that will be of value to our core clientele, means taking care of our staff and giving them a sense that we care about future generations. Advancement at A4 is based on merit rather than seniority or demographics. Everyone gets paid, even the interns, and that also applies to our locations where it's not yet law. Company matching of a portion of the 401(k), co-paid health care, and bonus incentives for individual or departmental successes and milestones is part of our commitment.
ENVIRONMENT
Our business is largely made up of transports that takes a toll on the environment, so we look to everywhere we can make a difference. Energy saving with up to date technology in LED lighting, HVAC systems and proper insulation is as important as reuse of consumables such as packing supplies and crates, and when we do have trash removed, it goes with a hauler that doesn't drop off at a landfill. We actively encourage and guide our clients and vendors in adopting similar practices. .
STEWARDSHIP
A4’s commitment to fairness and equity involves supporting non-profit arts programs through charitable contributions. We are particularly interested in supporting and drawing attention to operations related functions, be it through in-kind donations or events.
SOCIAL POLICY
A4 expects our clients to uphold the same ethical business standards we do. The roads we drive on and the education we receive, are supported through taxation. This public good is undermined when tax revenue is sheltered or diverted, whether illegally or via a loophole. We’re talking about use tax on purchased artworks. Pay the tax.
Atelier 4 recognizes the dignity afforded to all of its employees equally and without discrimination. We maintain the same attitude and doctrine as well with all whom we interact with; whether they be customers, vendors, colleagues or associates. Bigotry and all forms of hate are not tolerated at A4.
